Why do we take photos?....To capture special moments, so we can remember them always. Some of these special moments are personal, but others are universal. That is, some will draw you in, and let your imagination run free....you "space out" (as we used to say), and time has no hold on you....you loose your worries and your anxieties while you are there. Renowned photographer Leland Howard correctly says, that by having your favorite photos enlarged and hanging on the walls of your home or office, that you "...create a calming atmosphere...a positive effect on creative thought, comfort and well being...". I love looking at Creation (also called "Nature", which is just everything around us not created by human hands). I've been fortunate to have had a camera with me, and stopped, and waited, and captured some photos that are special moments for me.
